Stonehenge Visitor Centre axed (again)

Further to my post about Stonehenge the other day, the government has announced it’s not going forward with the £10 million investment in the new visitor centre (the rest of the £25 million was coming from English Heritage, the Heritage Lottery Fund, and other sources). Mike Pitts has some cogent points about this on his blog, and the CBA have comment and links.
